The Point of View Workshop led by Weronika Giżycka provided the group with the opportunity to explore the space in a new, experimental way. The workshop is based on the theater method Viewpoints and Composition developed by Mary Overlie and later adapted by Anne Bogart and Tina Landau.
One could observe the guidance and exercises in which the workshop participants formed various patterns through repetitive movements and compositions, gaining a better understanding of their own movements and those of the group in relation to space and time. The artist Weronika Giżycka aimed to open an experimental space with this workshop, where the participants could not only explore a new method but also discover the potential of the space in confrontation with the store.
For the first time, the space in the store was truly empty for a happening, and it was observed how the workshop participants re-staged it through movement compositions. This open space for experimentation also served as a meeting point for the artists who had previously used the space and for those who were now discovering it anew, fostering new contexts and learning opportunities through exchange.
The theater artists, the team of Market Groserias, could devote themselves to new questions of their craft and had the opportunity to engage in mutual exchange in the context of the project's open space.
