The Opening

The store opened properly to visitors for the first time. This marked the beginning of the interaction with visitors and spectators. The indoor and outdoor areas were ready to welcome people and invite them for tea, coffee, or even a snack.

Visitors now had the opportunity to learn about and understand the conceptual ideas for the various rooms. This led to an exchange about what had happened and what could happen.

In the morning, residents from Stolec came to visit. The exchange was about people's memories of the store; they went inside, walked around, shared where things used to be, and stayed for a while. Among other things, a flower wreath was gifted, which would later become significant for the meaning of Market Groseria.

In the afternoon, residents from Pampow (the neighbouring village in Germany) also visited. Together with the people from Stolec, the artists spent time together, and after an unexpected situation, everyone came together to reflect on the days and weeks ahead while enjoying some original music in the moment outside the store.

After the preparations with the residents for Market Groseria, this day was a joint opening of the store and another significant gathering for the shared foundation.
